This cylinder-shaped or inverted cone shaped dust collector model, with tangential inlet, is mainly used for collecting large particles of 80 µm or more. Under the centrifugal force, the particles are separated from the air and hit the cylinder walls, then slide toward the bottom hopper where they are recovered.
This model is mostly used as a separator in the lumber industry. It can separate wood chips from fine wood dust.
