DUST COLLECTOR FILTER ELEMENTS

Pulse Dust Collector with Filter Elements

This dust collector, with an air blast tubular filter bag cleaning system, is the most widespread in the industry in North America. The dust-laden airstream flows through the filter bags or the porous cartridges. The choice of filter element and its material are based on the type of dust being collected.

Each one of the dust collector models has a filter element declogging or cleaning system. Two models are among the most popular. The first uses a forced compressed air blast at a specific frequency. The second uses a mechanical shaking method to dislodge the dust clogged on the walls of the filter elements falls.

There is a third type of declogging device, which works by inverted flow. Reversing the air flow removes the dust stuck on the filter elements.

Unlike other dust removing methods, this model displaces fine particles more efficiently. It can collect 99.9% of particulate matter of 10µm or more.
